I think it must be devotion in his way. He hasn't kicked you out of his house yet, Naegi-kun. That's significant. He likes you so much that he told Fugo to date you instead of me. He cares a lot for Fugo's well-being, so that's significant, I feel.

Don't worry, you're not going to date Fugo. I'm not worried. That was literally never my concern.

I'm telling you so that you can examine your motivations, as well as Togami's. I don't think you can reason away all of it. Trust me, I'm actually quite good at this.
